Ozark Center, an entity of Freeman Health System, is home to adult outpatient mental health services. After years of occupying at least six different locations scattered throughout Joplin, the services now have a unifying and functional place to call home. CGA worked with the leadership to formulate solutions for the many services offered by physicians and staff within the facility. The completely renovated interior now includes welcoming and comfortable entry and waiting areas, offices for physicians and support staff, conference spaces, and break areas for staff. The interior features soothing neutral textures and wood elements. Color accents of green, yellow and blue provide a sense of calm, hope and healing.
The 34,000 square foot building was named Hope Spring, which stands for Healing, Overcoming, Persevering and Empowering. “We are thrilled with this new space because we believe the mental well-being of our community is just as important as the physical well-being,” says Paula F. Baker, Freeman President and Chief Executive Officer. “With this new location, we have a greater opportunity to meet the mental health needs of this community.”
